Please be specific. Right now, I am not understanding exactly what links you want. Please bear in mind that not everything has been documented by the search engines and therefore links to certain things may not be available at this time or ever. For quite a number of info/data seemingly not available from the likes of google, you simply have to acquaint yourself with the history of what you want to know. As for Nixon ordering the surplus wheat burnt, I saw that in a film documentary at the time when Nixon was Eisenhower's Veep. If you were not yet already a teenager during the late 1950s and early 1960s, chances are you didn't hear about it. Also, as the incineration of the surplus wheat was quite an embarrassing incident, chances are you will have to dig hard to find the info about it. Given the endemic parochialism so pervasive in America, the vast majority of Americans just didn't give a damn what happened to people elsewhere. I am not making this up. International tests have regularly shown that Americans are very parochial in their outlook. However, this does not necessarily mean they know everything about America. Far from it. I bet that lots of Americans don't know who was the first president of their country and the meanings of terms like "carpet-baggers" and "robber-barons" and that Ben Franklin made a huge blunder in thinking that Ontario was a useless piece of hinterland good only for the Canadians.
