I didn't take your post as unfeeling to our military in Iraq. Remember that Gen. Patton said, You don't win wars by dying for your country, you win by making the other guy die for his." I'm sure that "old blood & guts" Patton would not appreciate seeing our troops picked off one by one by concealed snipers, or being killed by roadside bombs. Thus, some tactical changes are in order to fight an enemy that is cowardly by nature and willing to hide behind women and children. The inspiring thing is how willing our soldiers are to finish the job they started no matter what is asked of them.
