I agree, the mess could get a lot worse. I don't think
hyperinflation is a possibility, but once confidence in the
dollar is lost, and trillions of paper money come back to the
US, who knows what will happen.

Why do so few including the Dems understand that the tax cuts on the federal level are a recipe for disaster when coupled with the reckless spending at the same time. You've got much higher taxes on the local level for Joe6pack and small business as a result and the time bomb of a declining dollar and higher interest rates and an even larger divide between rich and poor while Joe6pack and the federal government are already up to their eyeballs in debt.

The deficit spending along with record low interest rates, the spread of US consumerism and easy access to capital like never before fueled the global economy.. The first two are poison and can't continue without massive upheaval that only gets worse by the day..
