No just shows a correlation. Significant; as we agreed the President does have control of the budget process.

Are you saying it is mere coincidence? Or are you saying that the exact opposite of what the data shows is true?

No, I am suggesting that when the president is a GOPer and the GOP controls one of the houses, the vaunted fiscal responsibility of the GOP is no where to be seen. I am also suggesting that the GOP needs to stop bragging about something that does not appear to be true any longer.......in fact, for decades.
