What nonsense. Tens of millions of regular voters vote a straight party line regardless of the issues, candidates, values, policies, or anything else that should dictate a rational choice or decision. These people are voting by rote. And they are basically just as uninformed as those who don't bother to vote at all. And this applies regardless of political party.

You have a much larger degree of faith in the American electorate than I do.
