But all those questions (which you want conservatives to ask themselves) still involve personal preferences, no objective external test, and they piss people off :-) So while the issue may be complex, my tripartite description holds. I disagree. The problem is that conservatives are not in fact asking themselves the two questions I gave. Further, there is an objective external test: Does promoting stability in Gay relationships increase or decrease the incidence of homosexuality in the population and does it increase or decrease the number of broken lives caused by gay men attempting to live straight lives and failing at it?
