Dubya has too little character to think of this as humiliation. This is the story of Dubya's life: start off at home plate thinking you're a star, screw up, get brushed off by Poppy who sets you back on home plate....repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat.

The true humiliation is that Poppy Bush obviously prefers Bill Clinton, surrogate son, to his own idiot offspring. Bill Clinton treats Poppy with respect while Dubya always sought to spit on Poppy's legacy.

This is the head of the executive branch of government, it's quite a shock that things aren't worse for us as a country. Given more leeway, Dubya would have spent $1-2TRILLION of US taxpayer money giving SS to his Wall Street base, started wars with Syria and Iran, bankrupted Medicare immediately, thrown the US Constitution and the bill of rights out the window and declared himself King with one of the drunken twins as heir apparent.

Luckily, he only has an 8 year window and hasn't YET figured out how to extend that.

I don't think he ever wanted to be President. He was pushed into it by his father.

If you look back to pre 9/11, he was just going through the motions and was heading back to a comfortable retirement in Texas after he did his duty and his term was up.

Jeffords, when he left the Republican party, told him his inaction would leave him a one term president.

9/11 changed all that. The neo-cons came out of the woodwork and the war machine began rolling.

I don't think the Bush 41 gang is going to do much better.

They might make it look better for a while but in the end we are going to pay a heavy price for "arrogance" and "stupidity".
