Ah! That´s exactly what I was hoping for. A little late in the quarter and one wonders once again why they have been so overly conservative. Anyhow, better late than never :-))

Here is an update by Meurice on 2007 perspectives:

yahoo.reuters.com

Sounds like a troubled second half of next year to me: No more flash orders in Q3/Q4, lack of DRAM orders in Q4. As stated before ASML is bound to do well in Q1/Q2 just based on their backlog. Collapse thereafter? I sold my remaining ASML shares this morning but look already for a good re-entry price...

"I expect a MQU from ASML between November 29 and December 6 in which ASML states a minimum of 85 lithotools in stead of the 65 tools they predicted as new orders at the presentation of the Q3 figures, of which Meurice said, were very conservative figures."

Seems Meurice decided to keep this one for himself. You know it, JP Morgan knows it. Maybe they want to comfort investors with these numbers when they talk about their outlook for Q1? I don´t like it.
