We might see some Republican activity over the next few weeks. Things that should have been done over the past 6 years. After the first of the year, the Republicans will probably fade into the walls. Where they've mostly been for years.

I can only think of 2-3 good things the GOP did with the mandate they had. Lower taxes sparked the economy, and two young, conservative Supreme Court judges. Is there anything I missed?

John Bolton was a good pick, but the Dems will never give him a permanent nod. Bush can make him a temp again with a recessional appointment, like he did in the first place.

The media is biased. Crooked democrats might be worthy of a page 42 one liner. Crooked Republicans is front page for weeks if not months. Even though by the numbers no honest person can deny that Democrats are the party of corruption, the impression left as a result of dishonest media stories is the opposite unless media consumers act to educate themselves.
