Al, so let me get this right: - You think global warming is worthy of alarm, but you don't like it being trivialized as "liberal alarmism." - You don't want to "dismiss the obvious and marginalize the science of it," yet you won't dismiss the dire tone of Gore's "point of no return" comment. - You don't want to abandon years of work to develop world standards, but you also (euphemistically) acknowledge "imperfections" in such standards.
