Do they get the flu? Based on symptoms, yes.

One site on flu vaccinations for children indicate that a child getting the flu vaccine for the first time will often be "fluish",their term, for 3 to 4 days.

If I carry this a little further--------let's assume that you get a vaccination for a variety of flu that you have never been vaccinated for before or have never had-------then it stands to reason that you could be "fluish" for 3 to 4 days and if you have a compromised immune system possibly longer.

One of our major politicias in Virginia is crippled-----------the story is that their child was vaccinated for one of the childhood illness-----don't recall if it was polio or smalllpox. In any case, the politician was exposed via the child being vaccinated----------the virus attack his system and affected his body---his lower limbs.

His body was affected but not his brain----hence he has led a full political life.

Now to Tetanus Vaccine:

There are two forms of tetanus vaccine. One is DPT a combination of Diptheria and tetanus and another is tetanus only. On the sheet the doctor has you to sign you acknowledge that you may be permanently damage by the diptheria portion of the vaccine. Why risk permanent damage? I never let them use the combination.

Check out this article----------given all of the stuff in the flu vaccine definitely possible that it is reaction to a single ingredient in the vaccine or to a combination of these.

Thimersol, gentamicin and neomycin, mercury, formaldehyde---name your poison.

This is the first year that I have looked at this in detail----what a revelation. Now that I know--------never again.
