had a neighbor years ago, college degree , worked in dc for gov. interpreting russian manuals.. got drafted, no exemption after basic he was assigned back at his desk doing his regular job at e2 pay. two other guys doing the same job got exemption , stayed doing stay job at the fed pay grade. not a happy camper. if a draft let's hope we are fair to everyone. oh, he quit his gov job after his enlistment and went to work for gov contractor at much higher pay scale.
