Do you still think the writer of your posted article was truthful ?

Lack of accuracy and writers being over their heads in general is the name of the game in the press.

Dell highlighted the use of AMD processors in the press release, the writer "paraphrased" it at his level of competence.

As far as how much of the improvement is attributable to shipment of AMD processors, that information was not provided.

But Dell has more than 2 months of info on how the sales are progressing (from the time first AMD based computer went on sale to the date of the press release), and maybe it was that info that lead Dell to highlight the use of AMD processors.
