Actually, there is. If the platform is going to be higher cost, then the OEM is going to need to throw as many differentiators into the mix to make the whole package more attractive.

The problem is the market is shifting pretty strongly to the low end. For the consumer market, the cost is no object crowd is shrinking pretty fast. For the commercial market, that is changing also. Which means AMD has a great opportunity.

Yeah, well thanks, this I know. Like I said, these systems are good for displaying the turkey recipe. IF THEY ARE selling in very high volumes (and we don't know that yet), I'm surprised that so many want so little in a notebook...
