Maybe bad for AMD's lawsuit, unless you subscribe to the notion that the lawsuit was just a cover for AMD's customers ...

I very much subscribe to that except, replace:
"just a cover" with "cover for AMD customers was one of the reasons for the lawsuit"

How could AMD winning at DELL be bad for AMD's lawsuit? Intel announced that they were changing their marketing tactics and would make everyone pay the same price.

A couple months later, DELL announces AMD in everything. THis is de-facto proof that DELL was getting loyalty rebates and when they disappeared, DELL stopped being loyal.
