I understand and I agree with you on the long standing history of the factions involved in that conflict in the Middle East... and I also agree that the administration could have handled the war more progressively, we always needed more troops on the ground and we also needed to stop playing paddy cake with them... but all in all, absolutely, I am fully convinced that the liberal press and all the Bush bashing from the beginning only fueled the flames over there, it clearly encouraged the extremists to take up their cause because they saw how we bicker among ourselves over meaningless points, this is always seen as weakness by the enemy, and that we always run from a fight as soon as we get a bloody nose...
