Max: My take on 9/11 is somewhere between you and Searle. As you know Bin Laden and much of the Al Queda network worked closely with the CIA to oust the Russians from Afghanistan during the 1980s. Rogue pro-Zionist US intelligence operatives COULD well have encouraged the 9/11 attack in an effort to ignite Israel's long sought war of civilizations and gain a free hand to massacre Palestinians at will. This is far from a proven fact but is a plausible hypothesis.
