you only have to do like 4 things not to be below the poverty line, finish High school, don't have kids out of wedlock, don't have kids before you are 18. where did your parents screw up, it's pretty hard to be below the poverty line

I found it to be rather amusing, myself. I spent all of my childhood below the official poverty line. There are plenty of incentives to not be poor.


What I didn't realize until after I posted.......poor people really like sending their children to bed hungry.......that's another incentive to stay poor.
