Iraqi on Iraqi, Muslim on Muslim violence is what is happening now, reported as escalating deaths and deteriorating chance of success. It has nothing to do with more troops, any "denied support," and other obfuscationist bull. US soldiers have roughly the same exposure they have had for some time now. They are not whining and begging to leave. Let them determine the outcome. Supporting a democratic government to reign in civil war is the road to winning for everyone, primarily for Iraquis and the ME. Had Iraquis used the removal of Hussein as an opportunity to form self-rule, as was largely expected, a miraculous emergence in the ME would have happened. Degeneration into murderous attacks on fellow countrymen and fellow believers does not call for us to turn tail and run shouting "we never had a chance. The others guys are stupid and we are brilliant." I can't wait to see brilliant democratic retreat leadership and the American response to it. The more I hear all the adjectives like disgusting, stupid, and the name calling and ad hominem attacks, the less I believe there is an Oz behind the democratic, leftist curtain. It's all yelling and screaming and name calling. The only help needed from Dems is to come out from behind the curtain and not grant OBL every single objective he wishes. Please don't help in any way you think you are going to help, like give away the farm.
