O, the dems were scared into it. There is such palpable fear in the streets. I can't sleep at night worrying about it all. The horror, the horror.... Whatever. Dems were lining up of their own free volition to look and sound tough, having seen the intelligence and heard the sabre rattling of the Clinton administration. In 9 months up to 9/11, and the ensuing time period, the American public was shaking in fear?? Let alone the strong backbone of the proletariat, the fearless dem leadership, decorated veterans and all?? Ludicrous. Talk among yourselves with all this story. The public will not subscribe to it, because they do not see themselves anything like such cowards. Neither does the democratic leadership talk about themselves in this way. It is only the left blogisphere. You have your day in the sun now. Point the way and let the people vote in '08.
