I've a preference for reason over faith. I do suspect that the worst effects of global warming will be avoided, because history shows that eventually evidence builds to the point that even idiots start working in their best interests. See my comments on smoking & cancer earlier. I fully suspect that most people will support means to curb the problems of greenhouse gases, but by what means (global freezing pollutants certainly are in the running) and beginning when I can't say. This century I'm quite sure however, because the science indicates that the effects will be unavoidable by the end of 2100.
