Sheesh, let me be clear - my point is that Iraqis have been killing Iraqis in large numbers since at least the time when Saddam came to power. The "insurgents" - or whatever you want to call them - are doing it now, Saddam's regime was doing it before. It's not as if Bush introduced the concept to the country. That's basically it.

The point comes as a response to one poster (I think yourself) that put the blame for violence in Iraq on everyone other than the Iraqi population. In my opinion the ones who bear the largest portion of the blame for the violence in Iraq (now and in the past) are the perpetrators and supporters/coordinators of the violent acts.
