That's your "point". If you take out the Iraqi deaths for the Iran Iraq war (which you included before) Saddam's totals for kills over his tenure as leader of Iraq are very small compared to what is happening now. What happened before was not the same as what is happening now. You are simply wrong.

It's true that the society was more violent than our own, and that the violence was held in check by repression- which makes it an even bigger mystery why anyone thought it could flip to becoming a "beacon" of anything, save for violence, once the repressive force was lifted by our "helpful" US policy. Operation Iraqi Freedom. That's a laugh. Let's call it for what it is- Operation Iraqi Violence.
