I'm sure we will get around to killing plenty over resources before the century is over....but the theme I've been trying to pound on today....is mix in radical fundamentalism, proven track records of trying until results are achieved, increasing spread of available technology, not to mention the possibility of almost unlimited funding and who is to say the day that 10 or more dirty bombs(or worse) don't explode on a given day? My wager would be even money that it will happen within our life time.
