This is what I think is B.S. In fact, even when I brought up Al Gore's "point of no return," I was met by stiff opposition from those who wanted to "nuance" that phrase away. All because I pointed out that George Soros hypocritically invests in Big Oil even as he joins the anti-global-warming crowd.

There is no "point of no return." The earth's climate continually changes. I learned this in elementary school, and it still applies. Obviously 6 billion people on this earth are going to have an impact on the environment, but what can we do other than to keep adapting to the changing climate? (And perhaps conserve more and stop buying SUVs just to go to the mall?)
