New danger for us now is ISOLATIONISM, PROTECTIONISM and ANTI-IMMIGRANT HYSTERIA now that we took care of Bush/Wilsonianism. I agree. But, we have to fix Iraq before we leave. If we don't the whole region may erupt. Saudia Arabia could be threatened. Iran, Turkey, and Syria would have to respond and protect their own interests. Who knows how this will effect Israel. Biden's plan calling for three separate states under a federal form of government ensuring that they are to share oil revenues sounds like the only feasible solution. We may have to stay in Iraq for awhile until the new government gets on it feet. This is a mess that we created. We may not necessarily have to own the problem, but we have to take the lead to fix the problem .
