The best thing we might do is withdraw a subset of our forces into Kurdistan to keep Turkey out of there, and attempt to keep foreign actors from having too much influence with air power.

What happens when they go after the Sunni population as that is inevitable? Saudia Arabia would have to get into the mix. And, when that happens, Iran is not going to sit still. Syria and Israel could somehow get entangled. What happens then?
