There is no reason for any one in this country going to bed hungry...we pay enough welfare to take care of every person out there...many who don't deserve it.

"They should pay their fair share of taxes"

Currently the top 10% of all taxpayers pay roughly 90% of income taxes.

Maybe he's applying the "from each according to his ability" standard. So their "fair share" is whatever they can afford to pay...

" One of the wealthiest countries in the world and we have people living out of their cars and children going to bad hungry. "

Thanks to President Bush's tax cuts we have a historically low unemployment rate. Many of those who are unemployed chose not to accept work.

Do you have any idea how long unemployment benefits last in this country? And do you understand that when those benefits are paid up, the person is dropped from the unemployment rolls whether they have a job or not? Finally, part of the problem that exists today is not just unemployment but underemployment.

So because one person has more they should be required to pay your portion of taxes?

"They should pay their fair share of taxes"

Currently the top 10% of all taxpayers pay roughly 90% of income taxes. Most sane people consider this to be onerous and unacceptable. Only zealots and class warriors maintain the propaganda that they should be required to shoulder a larger burden.

Link please.

"You like people going hungry?"

Just curious, what percentage of your income did you donate to charity last year? Did you tithe? Charities feed the hungry an average of 10 times more efficiently than government programs do. It is foolish to support increased government spending on wealth redistribution.

4-5%. I don't tithe....I give directly to the charity.

"You don't really care about the country, do you? Its all about your wallet, ain't it?"

Unlike you, I care deeply about it, and its potential. And in your case it is obviously all about my wallet. I am not going to make it any easier for you to pick it.

You care deeply about your wallet. Thanks for being honest.
