I cannot imagine a decision that needed a free vote, and lengthy discussion more than this one. I don't remember when Quebec Separation was not a problem that Canadians were trying to deal with.
Why didn't harper know how Mr Chong felt about this? He is the leader of the party, or Peter mcKay? Harpers people skills seem incredibly immature. and yes I do hold harper to High Standards. He campaigned on openness, and free votes, and a cleaning up of the crap Canadians have been fed by the Liberals. I want him to stand by his word.

Just so we are clear, I am advising the seniors I know to watch their trusts carefully, and invest their spare money outside Canada. I believe that investing in this country is a crap shoot of monstrous proportions. Successive finance ministers have proven they would be better stacking cow patties than handling Canada's finances.

I notice that they were discussing this morning that we are paying Babs MacDougall $1600.00 a day to deal with Caledonia. We are approaching 300 days. That is some job, as nothing has been accomplished yet except throw huge amounts of money at the problem.
