we disagree about what weird is.
Personally I think your definition is weird.
Here is the generally accepted definition and it is not yours.
Bolding is mine

"a persistent, substantial rise in the general level of prices related to an increase in the volume of money and resulting in the loss of value of currency"

dictionary.reference.com

If I have to explain my definition then you should have to explain EVERY TIME why you do not consider "related to an increase in the volume of money" part of your definition.

The definition above is backwards but far more accurate than your "weird" definition that price is all that matters.

Clearly Dictionary.com thinks your definition is wrong and perhaps weird. I do. So please when you talk about inflation please point out your view that peak oil, drought, and grasshoppers can cause it. That is 100% wrong but in your price is all that matters belief it must be what you believe.

You also believe that money supply can expand infinitely and there is no inflation if prices do not go up. That to me is weird as well.

So when you mention inflation, please explain every time your weird beliefs.
