That is why all of the tax cuts had to have a sunset. The next Congress will refuse to renew any that expire, and thus get to receive credit for raising taxes. They don't have to do anything to raise taxes.

Tax cuts must have sunsets, but spending cannot. The democrat liars complain that spending is being cut if it is not increased over 5% every year.
