Perhaps Stossel is correct on some level, but the guy has a big hidden agenda on many issues, in my opinion. He is always trying to prove that left wingers are somehow suspect. Remember charity giving also includes church contributions , much of which is used to maintain and grow churches. That is fine , but how much is given by either group percentagewise both for non-church charity for the poor and or other social needs and for church charity that does filter down to the needy........
