<<Next thing you'll be saying is that we should permit the Taliban to regain control in Afghanistan>>

... but you, as in USA, IS permitting the Taliban to regain control in Afghanistan! financed by the permitted poppy fields, and enhanced by the authorized war lordism. No?

In the same light, you ARE permitting the forces of evil to regain charge of Iraq.

In the future, as in 2008 if all goes according to bipartisan plan unified voice, instead of one failed state for jihad staging, there will be two, one financed by poppy, and the other by oil, setting up the platform for 3, 4, 5, ... 17

Again, no?

Nice going. The sort of strategic thinking that got us here the world does not need, because it is just plain dumb, rising out of transparent ignorance.

"we should permit the Taliban to regain control in Afghanistan." The KGB took over and is running Russia and no one is saying anything. Bush took over with a couple of hundred votes in FLA -after two or three recounts- and he is there for the past six years.

Weird things happens!! Why? Because all people have the governments they deserve.

You said that next I was going to compare Saddam with Pinochet. The next post you'll be saying you didn't see any comparison between Saddam and Taliban.

And don.t think you are versed on international affairs to discuss with a person of Elmat's caliber.

You are not saying anything. You are just disputing what I am saying without providing any arguments.

High ranking Pakistani officials are saying that the Taliban are in de facto control of Afghanistan right now and we should recognize and accept it and go home as soon as possible.
