<<I think I am first to announce my intention to run>>

Sounds like you are a Conservative.

Mq, you are off to an excellent start. I think we can pretty much award you the 2007 Toaster as well as the 2006 trophy.

With a few days to run in 2006, you are pretty much on the money with the end-of-year price needing just a few cents fine-tuning to actually close right on your prediction of $38.42 and we have seen that price a few times today already.

Your low for 2007 of $38.79 is on target too and you even said when it would occur. Amazing prescience! Are you supernatural?

That GSAT purchase last week at $12.84 was well-timed too. Now $14.83. Go Globalstar Go. Yay for QCOM [making the Globalstar GSP-1700 swanky new phone for Globalstar]. We are on track to have millions of Globalstar subscribers by 2010 [or maybe 2011 as it'll take a couple of years after the new constellation is up to really get things humming]. Yes, I am a glutton for punishment. Fool me once... History repeats... Insanity is people repeating what they did before, expecting a different result ...

Mq well done. With no more shopping days until Xmas and a few more days until 31 December, it looks as though $38.42 is right on the money for year end QCOM price: siliconinvestor.com

I note that nobody else has dared to say what they think for 2007 but already, your precise prices are on track:

<I think I am first to announce my intention to run: <I think there will be a Toaster Invitational next year; that is my intention. >

2007 QCOM share price:

High for the year = $67.14 [occurring about May 14th]
Low for the year = $38.79 [occurring in the first week of January]
End of 2007 = $57.58
>

Right now, we have slipped below the target price for end of year 2006. But the December average is right on so we should close very close.

For those puzzled about the .42 in $38.42, 42 is the answer to life, the universe and everything. Since QCOM is the answer to life, the universe and everything I deduced that that would translate into the share price. $42 was too high and fractal analysis said $38 was right. The 0.42 extra was fine tuning.

The precise answer is $38.4231415923 ... But $38.42 was accurate enough.

Well Mq, it looks like you missed out there. The legal decisions went against QCOM, Nokia hasn't signed, Broadcom hasn't signed, more cases have been launched against QCOM.

So, your <<High for the year = $67.14 [occurring about May 14th]>> is well off target.

Now wallowing near $40 while markets roar.

Woe is us.

But at least Globalstar got another 4 satellites into space yesterday. So things are looking up somewhere.
