Unfortunately, it does not cut the die size "in half". And this power "by a third" thing may be a game, too, comparing non-EE 90nm TDP to 65nm TDP. With no samples, die photos, or official die size information from AMD, it is hard to tell.

INTC is in serious trouble if this even resembles AMD 65nm reality...(No wonder we've seen an acceleration in posts by the usual din of naysayers.) ;-)
