Carry a 200 foot section of braided 1 inch poly rope and a 3 foot iron bar. When stuck, go to a tree, tie the rope taut to the cycle, and back again. Haul very taught. Twist the rope tight as a drum with the bar, and secure it. Then haul sideways on the rope and the vehicle will come out. If you want to continue the pull, just put a loop in the end rope, one person hauls taught with a standing part through the loop and the other heaves on it sideways. This works with cars and light trucks too. We once hauled out a D6 stuck to seat in mud, by using a 1 inch cable and hauling sideways with a nodwell. A come-along with a long poly cable will work wonders too.
