You set hastings up, as a strawman, then you go forward to knock him down with statements like "Democrats support Criminals in Government". This is a very tiresome tactic your side uses to excess. If you want to discuss which party has been the most criminal during junior's administration I will be glad to do it with you but just remember you will have to justify people like cunningham, delay, abramoff, libby, rove, noe, harris, ney and many many others which I haven't mentioned but which are presently under investigation or soon will be. Well, someone who is investigated, is still innocent. Someone who has yet to be investigated is still Innocent. The attempt of the Democrats to put a convicted Criminal in charge of a major part of government is inexcusable. But, You are denying one of the basic tenets of Democracy when you accept the guilt of someone who has yet to be charged. that is one of the problems of Democrats You talk about someone as guilty before they have been charged.
