Has Intel or anyone made any public statements regarding their yields other than to say that they are "mature"...??? It sure would help the quality of this thread if anyone had some empirical data...

While I agree with you generally speaking, there is no doubt AMD's 65nm process is late and there is no evidence it is shipping yet.

Late compared to Intel, but not the Industry overall. In fact, I'd guess AMD will prove to be the Industry #2 in volume 65nm in 2007. If you look at the foundries, only a small fraction of their wafer area will be 65nm by mid 2007. Not sure what fraction of TI will be, they would be a contender perhaps for the title of #2.
