Did Caris say what the die size was? No. Yet you said the analyst was "on crack".

Let me spell it out for you, slowly. Try to follow along.

Caris put out a note saying that the die size was 1/3 smaller than their estimate from "two weeks ago", and that because of this, all sorts of wonderful things would happen to AMD's margins, vs. their prior expectations.

Knowing that the die size is ~125mm^2, that means Caris' prior expectation was: 187mm^2.

Now, that is larger than the 90nm 183mm^2 part, so I conclude that the Caris analyst is "on crack".

Get it?
