To take just three of the silly "points" in your post-

I said "probably" because Ayn is dead- and I can't dig her up and ask if we agree. My goodness man, don't let your antipathy to me make your posts completely ridiculous.

"Yes, I see religiously driven charity differently from you. I probably see it more like Ayn Rand would see it- as (somewhat) "virtuously" selfish. "

So your comment '"I probably see it" - You don't know how you see it? ' is extremely silly.

........................

"From your posts about me on SI, especially your posts in places where I do not post,

That's surprising. I thought you said I wasn't "important enough for me to keep tabs on". "

I don't pay any attention to what you say about you, or your opinions, I only pay attention to what you say about me. So really, I am keeping tabs on me- partly because it pleases my vanity, and partly for security reasons. See how that works? You are not of interest to me, but I am of interest to me, and apparently I am of interest to you, too. When your posts are about me, I read them, and if they are off the chart nasty I file them, so I can share them with friends and giggle over them in my spare time :-) Of course some posts (not any of yours that I recall, but then it's hard to put names to the posts) are rather deranged and disturbing- and I put those in another file.

...
Your point about finding "liking" people juvenile is just sad- but it does explain the way you post. Most people (I think) enjoy the company of people they like. It's relaxing to be around people who are nice, and easy going, and well, likable. That's true when one is on the internet, or in a social gathering in 3d. If you are interested in issues you are much better off reading an expert than some unknown person of questionable education, intelligence and experience on SI. IMO the issues really aren't that significant on SI. you can learn a lot more almost anywhere else. Because I greatly enjoy posting to people I find likable, and find it a burden to post to people I don't, I tend to hang out with people I like. That you find that odd or juvenile strikes me as strange and alien (and sad, as I said before). We're on Earth for a very short time, so we might as well spend our time with the people we value, rather than the ones we don't. But obviously we disagree on that point.
