GZ....If I can agree with you that there is a threat from muslim terrorists, why do you automatically accept that Iraq is the place we ought to be making a stand against such a threat. Sure, there are some terrorists in Iraq, and we have all heard the theory about how our presence "draws them like flies"...but think about it. If they really want to hurt us, they can allow us to get bogged down in what looks like a dark, deep, unwinnable struggle between Shiite and Sunni...who are trying to kill each other with us in the middle. If they are killing each other, maybe we ought to step back and refocus on those whose primary goal is killing US rather than each other... As has been said many times...if 1/10 of the money spent in Iraq in the last year was spent on REAL border security in this country, wouldn't you feel safer?
