I knew only one blood grandmother very well and no blood grandfathers. I don't get a vibes from her, but I did love her dearly and she gave me some very nice Christmas presents that acknowledged my young intellect. A subscription to Saturday Evening Post, a chemistry set, and so forth.

Back in my days of heavy drinking I would wake up at the drinker's hour. 2-3 AM when the blood sugar drops. My ancestors along with the vultures would be at the foot of the bed.
