I also heard that Dubyette actually said that Iran had, as its stated goal, to have nuclear weapons.

I remember hearing him saying that. Even though any official position out of Iran has been they do not want nuclear weapons, that doesn't matter. Maybe there was an Iranian, not speaking for the Iranian government that said it, maybe not.

It's too bad that our intelligence on Iran and their WMD program isn't as good as our intelligence on Iraq's WMDs. He just has to go with his gut.
