If $COPPER holds the 275-285 area then all is well. If it does not then some nastiness is coming. Either way IMO 500+ is on tap in the next year. Probably too much caution towards metals so they may just run.

Yes, I agree with that summary, overall. He is still recommending long zero bonds as a hedge against an economic downturn though. He is, I think, somewhat amazed at the liquidity out there (look at the M&A activity and private equity activity). He also talked about base metals companies as an endangered species and encouraged people to continue to have base metals in the portfolio.
