To be fair, Elmer did not get banned for "apologizing", but for insulting me in the process. He accused someone of being me, and when told otherwise said, "sorry for the insult" So his whining about this should not be taken seriously. He clearly has valuable information about Intel yields, but is hardly perfect.

There's a sizable portion of posters who are AMD "fans", not investors, and they use the rec system as a popularity contest. Express bullish sentiment, and no matter how big of a moron you are or how stupid your post was, and you get a rec. These same people think that bearish sentiment should not be allowed in their "fan club".

Sarmad, Economaniac is a pompous academic ass. He writes in superlatives and the Droids can't tell it's nonsense so they think it must be genius. You don't praise AMD and drink the kool-aid so you'll never be appreciated on that board. Don't expect to be. It's enough for me to expose the Cliff Clavens of this world (Pete) and the Corporate schills (TWY) plus all the other nonsense. If you haven't already paid for a membership then it's well worth it for the ignore feature if nothing else. Economaniac, IdiotGuy, Dumbo DRBES, TGPEETNGR just to name a few. They're all gone and you don't have to waste time on fools. If you need to be liked then you won't ever find it there.
