Wrong. That's what Nader's people said in 2000 and they gave us Bush, 9-11, Iraq and the worst government in US history. Even is Obama is a perfectly admirable guy on all levels, if he can't win, he should stay where he is and wait. Obama knows this better than anyone. He knows to take his fans with a grain of salt. He also knows he has plenty of time, unlike the 60 year old types. So it is Obama and only Obama who will decide if this is the right year. Or if he'd be smarter to be a VP or more experienced candidate next time around. I know he's tempted to run with all the positive press he's getting, but he may very well decide to wait. Again, bottomline, he knows he's black. And that it's very iffy if American is ready for a black president yet. Closer than before, but still very risky.
