'Ron Paul has. Did U really expect him to be featured on CNN? -g-' Well you know what I am going to do. I'm going to sit down tonight and type out a letter to Ron Paul and ask him to do more. To shout a little louder, to talk a little more forcefully and to take it to CNN, CNBC etc I saw Ron Paul questioning Greenspan when he was still the Fed Chair- when it was televisied on CNBC. To be blunt, Ron Paul is not forcefull enough. He brought up issues to Greenspan about the deficits etc- but, he really didn't call a spade- a spade and he didnt really call Greenspan out. For Ron Paul to do what Ron Paul needs to do for America. He has to be willing to commit political suicide and Im not sure if he is willing to do that. I dont think Ron Paul is a poweful enough personality, or a dynamic enough speaker to get it done. What we need is someone like a Soros to fund a MASSIVE educational campaign and media blitz and to back a real overhaul of the campaign finance, monetry and fiscal policy system - instead of some far left liberal causes like drug decriminalization, or environmental issues. I would have been a lot more impressed with Warren Buffett, if he had committed his Billions to righting America's ship- instead of writing a check to Bill Gates. Buffet has/had the money. And he has the credibility. He could of made a difference. Imagine if he did a series of televised Town Hall meetings on National TV over a couple of months, along with full page ads in the Wall St Journal, USA Today and about 50 major US newspapers- for months on end. Now, that would make a difference- and America would listen to someone like Buffet; especially if he made it his final mission in life. I dont think Ron Paul is the man. He is on the right page, he believes the right beliefs, but he isnt dynamic enough. It's going to take a world class orator. Someone with the cunning of a Clinton, the oratory skill of a JFK and the perceived purity of an Obama. I dont know who it is- but, I am praying that he's out there somewhere. For the sake of my grandchilden, I honestly pray- he's out there. While having gold and silver will be better than fiat, I don't think its the answer. We need a rising upswell revolt of middle America. We need a complete gutting of our campaign finance laws and a cleansing of Congress and the Senate. Sadly, I dont think it will happen untill a cataclysmic event occurs. A nuclear terrorist attack that crashes the economy. A massive collapse of the financial markets- beyond anything we've ever seen. Or, the appearance of a great orator, with a pure heart, a dynamic personality and the courage to confront the system for what it is. We need a political-Jesus. Someone pure of heart and motive. And we need him soon. Ron
