You can tell a lot about a teacher's motivation in talking with them. Many dream of being teachers and go straight to teachers college when they arrive on campus. Others find teachers college because they need a degree and it is the easiest place to get one.

The rules that govern government run schools are structured to ensure that no teacher can ever be fired. Once a dunce lands a job, they are set for life. All they have to do is show up for work every day and proceed "to push it so hard down these kid's throats".

I want to commend the teachers who love what they do and especially those who can inspire their students because of their love of teaching. Those who enter the field for the wrong reasons cannot be commended.

My son's God brother is a junior in high school. He will be a teacher. He will be from the first group. He can do anything he wants, and he wants to inspire young minds.
