Marcos, you surprise me. You seem hung-up on the thought that Catface is merely a "court-play" designed to milk the BC treasury. You ignore my response that 3 and 4 in harmony would not need a court case to allow their cause for they are proceeding within the law. A court case would have to instituted by 1, 2 (and 5 and 6). Moreover, a court case even in British Coumbia interprets the law, not which party is the more influential, nor even whose case is more just. Doesn't the law specifically permit mining ? If so what chance would 1 & 2 have of winning their case in court?

1 & 2 must surely rely, not on the courts, but on the legislature. However unlike the Windy Craggy era, Dave Barrett is no longer premier.... (Did you applaud the Windy Craggy decision ?) The current BC government seems intent on sponsoring mining. How confident are you that even the electorate would seek another Windy Craggy solution here, to protect the view ? (Everyone knows that the mountains are rarely visible from Tofino anyway.... and when you can see them it won't last long for it soon will be raining again. The top 500feet are usually hidden in cloud even then).

You also ignore the precedents set by Teck corp in its arrangement with the people of the Red Dog. It is not the assets of a small mining company that would tempt the Ahousaht, but the wealth of THEIR mine, which they would(and should) share.

It's strange that you believe that this case will take so long to play out that you prefer grass root exploration plays.
