August 4th was the (fictional) date of purchase. I recall it being a short-term top with some of the stocks at their highs. The pf performed well this last week only being down 1% or so compared with some I hold <ng>.

Power Outage: We were out for about 10 hours or so which really surprised me as we aren't in the boonies. It really struck home how dependent I am on electricity.

crappy i dont think so. in the same time HUI is down 2.5%. actually the portfolio has performed excellent. look at the leverage you are getting,from the already leveraged HUI . if HUI was to repeat its performance from the last 5 years, this portfolio of stocks is where you want to be.
